Changing the Logo in the MediaBeacon Login Dialog

Issue

How to replace the MediaBeacon logo on the Login Dialog.

Resolution

  1. Login with a Global Administrator account that has access to the "nologin" group.
  2. Navigate to Manage > Themes.
  3. Click on the "Grey" theme.
  4. Click "Add Theme".
  5. Click the new theme's name to edit it. Name it "Login Theme" or similar.
  6. Place the following CSS code into the new theme.
    1. Note: File names cannot have spaces.
    2. Note: The original image is 263px x 45px. The width of the image should be no larger than 263px, and the height should be adjusted to match the image's height.

  1. Upload the logo:
    1. Click "Add Image" in the lower left of the dialog to upload.
    2. Change ‘YourLogoHere.png’ to the exact name of the uploaded file.
  2. Click "Save", this button will change to "Done". Click "Done".
  3. Navigate to the "nologin" ACL.
  4. Right-click to open the contextual menu and choose Admin Mode.
  5. Choose Manage > Workspace.
  6. Under "Themes", choose the theme created above.
  7. All other users of the MediaBeacon instance will need to clear their browser caches to see the logo.
